In practice, you need to match the data sheet to the actual process. A PN16 flange rating is fine for cold water at 10 bar. The same PN16 flange may be wrong for 90 °C caustic. Check the pressure temperature curve before you order.
Sizing Limits: DN, Flow Range, and Turndown
